For those who haven’t been keeping track of the Mass Effect 2 DLC releases that is Lair of the Shadow Broker, The Arrival, and Kasumi — Lost Memory all at half their regular price. Each adds about three hours of content to Mass Effect 2 along with a chance to reconnect with some characters that weren’t featured prominently in the main campaign. Though the majority of the DLC episodes for Mass Effect 2 won’t help gamers better understand the events of the upcoming Mass Effect 3, they are worthwhile additions to the ME2 storyline....

An explosive teaser trailer for Medal of Honor: Warfighter has hit the web. The trailer names October 23, 2012, as the game’s release date, and promises that a Limited Edition version will be available for pre-order at no additional cost. The first movie is Bram Stoker’s Dracula, the Francis Ford Coppola adaptation starring Gary Oldman and Keanu Reeves which was not exactly a critically acclaimed film but definitely has that Gothic feel to it. While I can’t see your average person making plans to spend each Saturday night watching the new free movie, I would imagine that there are sure to be a lot of gamers who would take a break from their late night gaming session to check out a flick....

The latest Mario Tennis game doesn’t seem to venture too far off the path established by its predecessors, which is by no means a bad thing. Only Mario, Bowser, Peach, and Luigi have been confirmed as playable characters thus far, but that will surely change as the months pass leading up to the game’s release in 2012. The science fiction franchise has distinguished itself not through pulse-pounding combat or even ‘dudebro’ banter - like so many other franchises we could name - but through far more unlikely channels. It’s the expansive story and emphasis on player choice that has endeared Commander Shepard and his squad to gamers everywhere, but the team behind the game only see that as a challenge. We’ve already seen how Shepard will be more physical in combat, and the unique class attacks for ME3, but it seems those aren’t all the way the action aspects of the game are being overhauled....

The architect, Aleksi Ylläsjärvi, told Newsweek that he works in Lapland Hotels SnowVillage as an ice and snow builder. Lapland is the northernmost region of Finland, where the ground is covered with snow and ice for about six months of the year.
