Raleigh police announced on Twitter Thursday the suspect had been taken into custody after being cornered and is reportedly a teenage male. The arrest ended a three-hour search and standoff that spread panic through a quadrant of North Carolina’s second-largest city, and left a community in mourning. The standoff with police occurred in a barn, reported WRAL-TV. “All of us in Raleigh right now need to come together,” Raleigh Mayor Mary-Ann Baldwin said during a press briefing....

The latest move towards uniting comic, film, and game is the introduction of two forthcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe properties into the world of Marvel: Avenger’s Alliance. Some time this year both Captain America: The Winter Soldier’s storyline and characters as well as The Guardians of the Galaxy will hit the hugely popular Facebook and mobile title. First up is The Winter Soldier content, which will feature a storyline and missions that run parallel to the feature film....

Marvel vs Capcom 3 played great. It is clear the game is coming out in just over a week. It was hard to see if every character in the game is balanced well or whether it will be more like Marvel vs Capcom 2 where there are only a few “tournament playable” characters. Gamers were, however, winning matches with pretty much every character combination there is. Whether or not this reflects true balance or just difference in skill between gamers at the event remains to be seen....

However, now that there is some distance between us and Mass Effect 3’s ending(s), we can hopefully look at them objectively, or at least talk about them without sighing heavily.
