Who killed Erin in Mare of Easttown? In the first half of the season finale, all the clues led to John Ross (Joe Tippett) being the murderer—but things were not entirely as they seemed. The episode’s hour kicked off by revealing what was in the picture brought to police in the prior episode. That photo was of John in bed with Erin. For viewers struggling to keep up with the many characters of Easttown, John is the husband of Mare’s best friend Lori (Julianne Nicholson)....

Zero and She-Hulk were recently announced as the latest characters to join the fight. The roster will grow even more massive for those who can afford a little extra in February. A Special Edition has been announced that includes two bonus downloadable characters: Jill Valentine, from the Resident Evil franchise, as well as Shuma-Gorath, the one-eyed demonic enemy of Doctor Strange from Marvel Comics lore. The Special Edition will also feature a steel book-case with exclusive art work, a ‘Fate of Two Worlds’ 12-page comic that will serve as a prologue to the game, and a 1-month subscription to Marvel Digital Comics, which provides unlimited access to Marvel’s online library....

After the game’s unofficial announcement (no title revealed) at E3, it seemed like a fair assumption that the next Mass Effect adventure would arrive in 2015. After a presentation at Comic-Con that revealed how early Mass Effect 4 was in the stages of development, it became much more clear that the team still had a few years worth of work ahead of them. Mario Kart 8 looks to be the best installment in the series yet, with significantly enhanced visuals, gravity-defying tracks, and a hodgepodge of new vehicles. Not to mention the inclusion of the Koopa Kids, which is more or less reason enough to invest in a Wii U....

Mario Kart Tour will be available to download for free on iOS and Android starting September 25. Nintendo also announced that players will be able to drive on courses designed to look like actual cities like New York, Tokyo and Paris. Some drivers will even receive variations that have them reflect these real-world locales. The combat tweaks and improvements looked promising at E3 2011, and the more we’ve seen, the more encouraged we’ve been. The recent ME3 demo leak gave a more in-depth look at the story and traversal, but there are still going to be plenty of fans who are concerned about the shift the developers have taken. While playing the game will likely be the only thing that can calm their fears once and for all, we’ll settle for a deeper look at the combat and an explanation of the mechanics by the minds behind it....

Mass Effect 3 will be hoping to redefine several aspects of the series so far, from combat to decision-making and everything in between. But in this case, the fans were the ones who got to have their voices be heard loud and clear. BioWare decided that the third Mass Effect game was the right time to finally give the Female version of the series’ hero the makeover she deserved. The fans were asked which character model they liked the most, and the redhead won the day by a landslide....

To help entice gamers back to the mode, BioWare has announced a few additions to Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer that will help it better resemble some of today’s more popular multiplayer titles. The biggest change will be the game’s challenges, which ask the player to complete a specific task a number of times. By completing each challenge, a player will net themselves a predetermined amount of Challenge Points. Challenge Points in Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer will not be like the mode’s credits, which allow the gamer to unlock new character classes, weapons, and items, but are merely for bragging purposes only....

By doing three individually and 50,000 as a community, players would be rewarded with additional reinforcement packs. That packs couldn’t come at a better time since today the second set of Mass Effect 3 multiplayer DLC is officially out....
