According to Capcom Community Manager Seth Killian, Mega Man Legends 3 has yet to even be greenlit by Capcom, and the game is currently sitting without a publisher. What this essentially means is that Capcom wants to see what form the project is starting to take before it lays down more money to make the game a reality. Mega Man Legends 3 was supposed to be sent for review to determine whether or not the title would be given Capcom’s seal of approval last month, but apparently that has still yet to happen....

Mass Effect 3 is arguably the most anticipated release this year, however it appears that PS3 users are getting the short end of the stick. We had expected Medal of Honor: Warfighter to be revealed in an upcoming edition of PSM3, but it turns out the game was outed by Official Xbox Magazine instead. The game will once again be developed by Danger Close studios, who under went a name change from EA L.A. prior to the release of Medal of Honor. Details are sparse at the moment, but the magazine reveals that Warfighter will release this October, once again following the story of Tier One Operators, presumably in the Middle East....

The fan in question, one Brian Austrin, is a member of the Capcom-Unity forum’s devroom, having worked on promotion for Mega Man Legends 3 during its development. He was one of the first to leak information on the game’s development to the fans, and encouraged the development team to continue leaking information to further entice them. Austrin directly reported to one Joveth Gonzalez, a former community manager of the project who was a major source of insider information on the now-canceled Mega Man Legends 3....
